The Chicago Short Comedy Video and Film Festival

The festival that showcases comedy shorts made by Chicago filmmakers, now in its 12th year, and featuring a great line-up of hilarious films!

This is the festival that focuses on the outstanding talents of Chicago’s comedy and filmmaking community. Thirty-nine short comedy films will be screened during the two shows of the event; the shows are at 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Among the many accomplished actors and improvisors featured in the films are: Megan Grano, Hans Holsen, Brad Morris, Emily Wilson, and members of the troupes Schadenfreude and Stir Friday Night.

A jury of Chicagoans prominent in the comedy and filmmaking communities and the media will rate the films, and their top choice will receive the Best of the Festival Award and a prize of $2,500 in editing software from sponsor Avid Technology, Inc.

Shows on July 24 at 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. – Admission price is $10 per show (See bottom of page for details)
